seems to be a hit or a miss in matchmaking.

Yes, the gaming gods saved the good one! That is some luck, you had! I can not believe the 360, just floated, on the original. I would have thought, they would both sink like stones. Maybe, I should buy floaties for my consoles, in case I ever have a flood!

Oh goodness me, I've done that so many times now >_< Buying a game then finding that a couple of days later it's free or heavily discounted! Recently, spent $30 on Lego Marvel, 1 day later it was discounted down to $7.

Here's my suggestion: If you're considering buying a game on the 28th or 14th of a month - wait a couple of days incase they become free or heavily discounted! Also, some websites, though very few, will have advance notices of the upcoming free games. It's
not often they'll have details of upcoming sales & specials though, but it's worth a google.

A tip for increasing your chances of getting a Deathmatch is maybe try to play around peak times when more people are likely to be on. Say between 5pm & 9pm or something like that. Just a thought
