Full Game - Life Is Strange

So I was going through the recent sales yesterday and found something called Full Game - Life is Strange for $2.49. I looked at the list of Life Is Strange prices and noticed that Episode 1 is free and that all the other episodes are full priced so I thought...
wow... what a deal!

I bought it. It was cheap, but when I loaded it up and went to episodes it was only the first episode.

I paid $2.49 for a free episode of Life is Strange and no where in the description did it say I was only purchasing a single episode.

It's a small amount of money. That's not the point. The point is there was a difference between Life is Strange Episode 1 and Full Game - Life is Strange that led me to believe I was purchasing something that is already available for free. It's the principal
of the matter. Is this a way for Microsoft to rip people off by tricking them into buying something they offer for free anyway or am I missing something?

Life is strange

It said in the trailer that it was part 1 of 5, so I'm guessing it can't cost more than £5 for the first episode (Hopefully)

I've downloaded it but still haven't got around to playing it yet, I've heard some very good things about it though.

Hello SlenderMan,

So this is some confusion that's created by the product listings. "Full Game" is used on the Marketplace to differentiate games from their demo counterparts. On Xbox 360, Episode 1 is a 'full game' in that this is the one that you launch to then gain access
to the other episodes, Episodes 2-5 which count as DLC or add-ons for the 'full game'. It's a quirk in the system in the way episodic content is handled, but only in name: Episode 1 is both the first part of the story, but also the launcher for all the other
episodes.

As to the price discrepancy, the price you paid is the discounted price for Episode 1. The free version is merely a demo or trial and not a full game at all. To get access to the full season you would need to make a second purchase, that of the season pass
which is also currently discounted.

I hope this helps clarify things, and hopefully alleviates that feeling of being cheated.

Have you got the full Life Is Strange 2 game downloaded and installed? If not, you'll need to install the full game before playing Episode 2.

Life is Strange 1 the full game is still on the game pass, i only downloaded it the other day, i redownloaded it today to try solve the issue but its still not working :/
