    FSX Window gets rescaled when i click fly now.


    Hey there MS Community! I recently installed the Steam Edition of FSX. But if i go on any mission or free flight and click fly and the main game window appears it rescales the window and then two black thick bezels come on the left and right sides of the display. Any help

    Ok solved it on my own! you just need to go to settings in the main menu and click Customize. then make target framerate 60 and in full screen resolution you need to select your screen's resolution. for example if your screen resolution is 1920x1080p which means Full HD select 1920x1080x32

    it's something like that. and moderators im sry for posting this thread without even seeing the options i had.

    Hi Lucas,

    Thank you for the prompt reply I have carried out your suggestion and when I get to the Registry Key and 'double click on Upperfilters on the right side' it already says PartMgr. I then close and restart the computer, start FSX and it opens with a new box that says "Would you like to activate your copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator now ? I choose 'Activate now' and click next and it asks for product key. I enter the product key (the same key as the FSX) and another box opens that says "Invalid Product Key" and I can't get any more done. It will not work. Any ideas ?

    Thanks , I almost got that far but frustration made me go back and play w FSX 10 amd X Plane amd even went to Google earth to fly w great scenary .

    they should have used FSX X and added To Google Earth , I say . Thanks for the final help I hope .

    I have the same problem and it needs to be fixed...

    what i do is in this menu i set up my departure then wait, DO NOT click fly now yet but form the moment FLY NOW is active it might take up to 5 minutes then the time will change to correct local time and i get correct weather then click FLY NOW
