FS2020 stuck in update screen - XBox pass version

What I did for mine was while Xbox app is open and flightsim2020 is stuck on the "please wait" and "asobo-airport-lxgb-gibraltar-0.1.2.6.fspackage". In order:

• Open up "resource monitor" then
  CPU tab and then right-click FlightSimulator.exe and
  suspend it. (don't close this window)
• Change region (I selected Gibraltar region)
• Change account via Xbox app to a new one

• Then go back to the resource monitor and
  resume FlightSimulator.exe.

You should be able to see the MSFS 2020 app again but this time you are back on "please press any key" screen and it should take you to the settings screen where you can change the settings. Try to change some of the
settings like untick/tick some boxes or move sliders or change the colour. Just in case that did something. Then press next where you can install/download the 91.36gb files via content manager screen.

start downloading everything again. Once done you can switch back to your regular account."

This worked, very hard to find this info. Just create a new dummy account to download.

Since yesterday the FS2020 is unable to start, it stays in the update screen trying to download over an over again the same two files:

• asobo-airport-eidl-donegal-0.1.23.fspackage
• asobo-airport-lxgb-gibraltar-...

I have tried repairing the installation, removing FS2020, clearing all files an even uninstalling the xbox client.

Nothing works.

Should I stick to x-plane 11 instead?

Same here. I first installed the game on an old HDD and that worked fine. Then decided I want it on my SSD instead.

Uninstalled the game and tried installing again but no luck. Stuck on same 2 files.

Tried installing it on that old HDD again but that is also not working anymore.

Do I have to subscribe to the game pass once more? The new account does not recognize the game pass I have bought on the original one.
