FS2020 - Settings not being saved

I solved it by changing the package directory to the same drive as the main installation was installed.

Steps

1. Cut / Pasted the folder that contains "Community" and "Official" folders to the drive first asked when installing from the scratch.

2. Start FlightSimulator

3. Choose new location (takes some time)

Now it works properly.

Hey FlyAAVA, I think I have the same issue, and I dont know either how to fix it. Can you describe your issue? In my case, each time I start FS2020 it will ask me everytime about graphics settings.. etc. In the settings, I change a lot of controls on my
joystick but each time I close the sim and start again it will reset everything to default as well as my profile. It will set the profile to 0 hours and nothing on my logbook. Do you have this kind of issue?

after consulting with the microsoft Zendesk at Fs2020, it was a advice they send me, because after a big update of FS2020, this bug in the game turn on, where all my settings in the simulator are all turn in to default on every start up of the sim.

FS2020 loaded and code used to start sim, all well (at first) - computer shut down overnight, following morning that's when trouble started.

Computer when into safe mode and started repair sequence followed by disc check - told all new apps would be removed, finally started.

However FS2020 had been removed - then reloaded sim and once more entered code - told this had been redeemed and then sent to Microsoft store to buy fresh FS programme.

After loading program for second time etc - now can't find FS2020 on computer files, keep being sent to Microsoft store - so what's happening Microsoft?

I contacted Xbox Support and it seems you can actually try re-downloading the account to your console, to refresh it's details. If this doesn't seem to work, please post saying so.
