FS2020 Settings are not saving

Hey FlyAAVA, I think I have the same issue, and I dont know either how to fix it. Can you describe your issue? In my case, each time I start FS2020 it will ask me everytime about graphics settings.. etc. In the settings, I change a lot of controls on my
joystick but each time I close the sim and start again it will reset everything to default as well as my profile. It will set the profile to 0 hours and nothing on my logbook. Do you have this kind of issue?

I solved it by changing the package directory to the same drive as the main installation was installed.

Steps

1. Cut / Pasted the folder that contains "Community" and "Official" folders to the drive first asked when installing from the scratch.

2. Start FlightSimulator

3. Choose new location (takes some time)

Now it works properly.

after consulting with the microsoft Zendesk at Fs2020, it was a advice they send me, because after a big update of FS2020, this bug in the game turn on, where all my settings in the simulator are all turn in to default on every start up of the sim.

I have installed al of the 10 dvds abd when i put in dvd nr one snd start fs2020 I have to put in the Registration nr and but then uts written ”it id already used” (something like that. its not on the dvd:s. Last time I reinstall Windows 10 I had to start Windows store and start Fs2020 from there becouse the Registration nr is stored in the store someway where its says I own FS2020 i library. But when I change my hardwear and update Windows to 11 I dont own the FS2020 in library and can nit use the dvd for the installation, becouse after the installing i have to write the Registration number.

So the dvd:s work for the installing but i cant start the fs2020.

Hey Jason,

I have 2 2080tis and nvlink. Is there something special i need to adjust to get a beneficial out of the 2? I didnt change anything in the nv system settings for fs2020 so far.
