    FS2020 - Problem Getting Game to Load


    Hi. Firstly not terrible PC literate so will describe issue best as I can.

    Signed up for X Box Game Pass last year on PC to try out FS 2020. After a couple months bought said game via microsoft and cancelled Game Pass subscription as FS2020 was the only game I was interested in.

    Since that time no problems, The game was digitally downloaded. I always logged into what I would call the Game Pass homepage. Small FS2020 icon in left hand column. Click and away way go.

    Play game regularly and downloaded France/Europe update last week. Played - no issues.

    Yesterday when I opened the Game Pass home page - no FS2020 icon in left column. Clicked "My Collection" and it shows "All Games" with FS2020 shown.

    When I click this I am navigated to the page which shows all FS2020 Achievements. At the top it shows the FS2020 "box" and it tells me that I own it.

    It requests me to install the game advising I require 130GB space on the DIsk with only 92GB available.

    The game is already downloaded on my "B" drive taking up 130GB.

    Unable to run game and see no need to re-install.

    Help.

    I tried searching MFS2020 from the START and Windows Search Bar but unfortunately nothing showing.

    As I indicated the programme is the only one on my SSD Disk B.

    I wonder if there is a problem accessing this Drive?
    There is actually two parts to MSFS2020. The main launch files will be in a folder called 'WindowsApps'. The C:\ drive version of this folder is hidden and isn't modifiable even if you unhide it and take ownership. The main launch files are 1GB. If you have seemingly removed the game from your system, you've possibly removed this element of the install. Which is why you won't find it in the Windows Start Menu.

    The other 99% of the game will be located in the drive and folder you select during the main install. If you search for Flight Simulator 2020 in the Windows Store, does it say install?

    Hi,

    The Game Pass app is only really needed when you have a GP subscription, even then it's not actually needed to run any installed games.

    What happens when you search for MSF2020 and attempt to run it from the START menu or the Windows Search bar?

    problem with the game FS2020

    You need to check your joystick inout to make sure its working properly, but you also need to do things like adjust your trim. Real planes dont fly straight by themselves, and this is a simulator.

    Make sure you play the tutorial as well
