    FS won't start


    Recently installed FS on my Xbox X and when I try to start a flight I get an error message saying that I'm currently offline and that I need to download the offline pack.

    Then it won't allow me to download said offline pack so that's £110 well spent.

    I've unplugged the Xbox to reset it, done the same with my router etc etc.

    All I have been able to do is to configure certain things like graphics, sound, details etc but not actually play it game.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    So far I've unplugged the router and left it a few minutes before plugging it back in, with no difference.

    I've done the same with the Xbox X console, again making no difference to the outcome.

    Yes, this was my first download of the game and no, it has never worked so far.

    I did get an error message, see below.

    I've just uninstalled the game and I'm going to try a fresh install later today.

    Just to let you know that the fresh install seems to have cured the problem of FS not starting, so fingers crossed etc etc.

    Flight Simulator 2020 not loading the launcher

    I've just encountered the same problem after a ZoneAlarm and Flight Simulator update.

    When I try to start FS, nothing happens at all. I've found the solution is to turn off Zone Alarm Anti Ransomware before starting Flight Simulator. You can turn it back on once FS has started.
