FS 2020 can not do anything in free flight

Hi everyone,

I've set up a new free flight between two airports. The flight starts but then I'm stuck. I can not control anything. Deactivating autopilot or ALT+CTRL+X does not work, it does not react. I can only access menus. I tried different machines and airports.
Can't even change view.

Everything worked in flight school.

I have exactly the same problem as you describe and it's driving me 'nuts'. A few of the joystick controls(Thrustmaster Hotas One) work in free-flight but mostly they do not. I have tried a different joystick but with the same result which suggests a glitch
in the FS software. The rest of the application is working well. I have re-installed FS 2020 and the Thrustmaster drivers.

Is anyone else experiencing this fault please?

Otterosch, are you able to pinpoint anything done to fix the issue other than restarting the game?

Same Question here. My Ch Flight yoke and pedals are detected correctly and calibrated but not working onder Fs 2020 enviroment

Because "Google" and "some websites" are not Microsoft.

They could write basically anything they want. And I could for example write that "Flight Simulator 2020 will NOT release on Aug. 18th on any platform except the

Atari Lynx", but all that won't change that Microsoft only releases the Flight Simulator for PC on that day.

FS 2020 for Xbox One is still coming out at a later date.
