    Frustration with the Xbox one...


    Hello Microsoft, I have been a loyal Xbox owner since the first console came out. For 13 years I've only ever had xboxes. Never once even thought about switching over to playstation, because Xbox had and gave me everything I wanted. My Xbox 360 was amazing.
    I had 2 consoles over the spread of 9 years! Not often did I have problems with 360's multiplayer connections, gameplay, or overall performance.

    All that to lead to my frustration with the Xbox one. For starters I am surprised if I don't have to hard reset my Xbox one once a day. It seems like the One is a petulant child only doing what he wants when he wants. Connection issues? Yeah. Did I call
    my internet service provider and have them come 3 times over the time I have owned this Xbox? Yes. Why? Because I have Internet connection issues everyday with the One. The Internet guys upgraded my service all 3 times, new routers, better service, the works.
    All to still have connection problems everyday with the One. And yes I did port forward all recommended ports for the Xbox and the games I play.

    Transitioning into games, one of my favorites is Destiny. I feel like Microsoft didn't fight for us users on that front. It feels like we got a third world server. How many times do I get disconnected or glitch out from that game? I don't want to think about
    it. And the content? Sure, you guys get some other games first, but who is it helping to get exclusive content, better or worse servers, etc? I'll tell you who it's not helping and who loses everytime, the gamers, whether they be ps4 users or Xbox users,
    one set of gamers will always lose.

    So where does this leave me? I am, for the first time in my life, thinking to myself, "Well... Should I sell my Xbox and all the games on eBay and start completely over with a new playstation? From Sony???" I can't believe those words are coming out of my
    mouth... Ever since high school I have been arguing with friends why the Xbox is better and always will be, but today... Today my frustration has peaked and I would most likely agree with anyone who says the playstation is better.

    I'm by no means an expert on any of this, just a typical gamerm frustrated. I may not know everything, but I do know whats going on in my own household. I am sure I am not the only gamer out there thinking this. Many people who read this may think, "Yep,
    that's me too". So give us frustrated gamers something to keep going with microsoft... assure me, with actions, that Xbox is still on top. Should I have to hard reset my Xbox every day? I don't even know how to end this... So I'll end it with me shaking my
    head.

    Frustration with xbox one preorder

    Well, I preordered my xbox one months ago from Microsoft. UPS said it was out for delivery at 7am on Friday. By the time I left for work at 3:45pm it still hadn't arrived. When I got home that night I got a note that they tried to deliver it at 6:26pm,
    and this is from a UPS warehouse 20 minutes from my house. I went down on Saturday to get it from UPS, but, of course, they are closed until Monday. So I'm sure they'll try to redeliver it on Monday when I'm at work, then maybe Tuesday when I'm at work.
    So, I'm stuck having paid for an xbox one that I can get because Microsoft chose to send it to me through a lousy shipper that won't allow me to adjust the shipping schedule without paying extra money and I probably won't be able to get it until after Thanksgiving.
    I would love to cancel my order and get my money back, but can't find anything on any websites to get any sort of satisfaction. So, I just decided to vent here and warn everyone away from ordering anything from Microsoft unless you have the time to sit around
    all day for delivery.

    Frustration with xbox one preorder

    on the door tag you can mark the option to leave it pick it up from the warehouse. Flip over the infonotice paper and just sign that.

    Frustration with the Xbox one...

    I too am fed up. Received an update for my console, next morning it will not even power up. after very little research, it would appear hundreds of gamers have the same issue. The new circle of death. I'm 2 months over warranty for this $500 boat anchor.
    MS support will not tell me what is wrong with it even though they know good and well what the issue is. Send in for repair they say and by the way, that'll be $135 please and no promise it will not happen again. What a joke.

    You best fire it up because Xbox Live doesnt even recognise youve played the game, it shows up on your list as locked, ie you havent even played it on your Xbox One

    As far as fiddling with your NAT thats something that isnt really need unless you are having connection issues in MP games. Even on a strict NAT I still get full bars in Titanfall.
