    Frustration Rising (MW)


    Recently my MW game has started saying I don’t own it. Even though it opens it shows I need to purchase Modern Warfare. I have the disc and it only says I can play Warzone. I am afraid that if I uninstall it won’t allow me to reinstall or it may delete all mine and my brothers data. The bugs are getting out of control. It all started with the data pack not wanting to show, then it wouldn’t give the option for splitscreen on multiplayer. All that lead to it just saying purchase in the end. Is it safe to uninstall or will I just have to repurchase the game?

    I fixed the pack issue already. And I am glad to here I won’t lose online or offline guns and skins. But I am still afraid that it might not allow me to redownload the game due to it saying I don’t own it. I appreciate the help. As a fellow Xbox user.

    Hi there OpTic welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. A lot of users are reporting this issue! you should be able to look at all the data packs from the main menu of MW pressing the joystick, but something you could try is uninstalling the game completely, install it on offline mode, and then see if you can now download all the packs from the menu!

    Also, you don't lose saved data by uninstalling games.

    Guess I'll swap BF3 for MW if they don't fix that very soon :(

    LOL. If you think Black Ops 2 is frustrating...

    It's definitely frustrating. Guns are more inconsistent in BO2 than in any other Call of Duty game that I've played a lot of (2, MW, MW2, MW3, BO, BO2).
