Frustrating issue when downloading/updating games.

For the past week or so I have been having issues when trying to download a game or update a title and it goes over the 100% mark. Not finishing the download when its supposed to, then somehow downloading many more Gb's of data and wasting bandwidth. It
started with me downloading Battlefield Hardline from EA access where it took ages to download and it went all the way up to 222%. I then had to restart the download and download 40+ GB of data all again on my internet connection that's already low when it
comes to the average speed.

And now there is today when I try to update Halo 5, a 3.3GB update went over the 100% mark, causing me to completely uninstall Halo 5 again. Then in an attempt to install it again it was a huge 20+ GB update to install all again including the 40 GB or so from
the disc.

Problem is its been downloading for hours now and its slowly crawling at 32% and the installation from the disc should have kicked in by now and I know it certainly hasn't. So again im starting to get frustrated meaning im most likely have to download this
AGAIN.

Im on the preview program and im on the latest build if that helps. Any help would be appreciated.

when it will come to downloading the game, the console will refuse to download the game.

i know this is very frustrating and personally, i am contacting xbox regularly regarding this issue and indeed this is very frustrating and annoying.

 

Blocks keep appearing,pleeeeease help.

I'm also having this issue but only when using enchanted items, It seems that the blocks are not updating quick enough when using efficiency enchantments. That said it's not making the game unplayable (well not mine anyway), just a little frustrating. Hopefully
4J will fix soon.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this bug while downloading games. It has been acknowledged and a fix is currently being sought out. Here is an excerpt from WorkWombat, an official Xbox Staff member, which can be found here at

"As you may have noticed we are bad at math again this week! You have noticed a bug that shows when installing games the install tile shows above 100%.

We have determined that the user experience of over 100% install is impacting all titles that are digital and have a pending/current title update. We are getting preview reports of both Halo 5 and Grand Theft Auto showing this over 100% install issue, you
will see other titles as well reporting this error.

The game will install correctly just let it finish and a fix is being worked on.

Thanks for your patience and please keep on reporting feedback!"

So just be patient as the game downloads. If it starts to go over the 100% mark, DO NOT uninstall the title. Just let it finish.
