    I ordered a console directly from Microsoft (Day One Edition). I received the console on launch day. It worked fine for about 4 weeks. Then on Sunday Dec 22, I went to play it and it would not power on. It obviously was not getting power, so I contacted
    support and they shipped a new console to me. I received the new console on Dec 26. I un-boxed the new console and plugged it in. Still no power!!! So i had to contact support again and had to go back through the entire process yet again.

    I am a pretty technical guy and a CCNA network admin for the State of Missouri. I didn't want to go through the usual troubleshooting script again. So just told them I had no power. After 60 minutes on the phone I finally talked them into placing a service
    order for a new power supply. I shipped the bad power supply back to Microsoft Service center in Laredo, Texas on Dec 27. They received the bad power supply on Dec 31.

    I have yet to receive a new replacement power supply unit. It has been 3 weeks now!!! I was charged for the 2nd console that was shipped to me, I even shipped my original console back with all my game saves.

    I cannot check the status of the service order due to Microsoft's website and FrontPage having issues.

    Microsoft offered users with the bad disc drive a free game to compensate for their loss of playing time and issues. I had to ship my original console back even though it wasn't an issue with the console, it was the power supply. I lost all my saved games and
    have to reinstall all 3 games and download the Day 1 patch again!!. Support asked me if I could insert a USB thumb drive into the unit and copy my game saves over. I said I could do that if I had a way to power them up, I don't even have a power supply now.

    A very frustrated user, I have had 6 Xbox 360's replaced and am already on my second console!!!

    I'm thinking I should have just bought a PS4 and saved myself $100 and all the frustration and lost time

    yes this does take awhile

    really talk to a police officer to see how long identidy theft or normal crime takes

    its not a checkbox solved and collect some evidence collected

    no thats not possible for 30million users hacked but you have to remeber even 1% of 100k of users are still 1000 users

    do you really expect police to finish paperwork and solve crime in 1 day in a city of 1million?

    do you really think people use common sense to protect thier accounts?

    like using the same email and password on every site? thats still the number 1 phishing method

    1million people do not get robed

    however you still have car jackings and robberies that do not take 5mins to solve

    i love to see you prove that

    no IP logs and console ids are not that simple

    first and foremost iplogs and console ids do not validate a claim as purchases can be made by computers or at a friends house

    you could've purchased at another computer at work or replaced your console or moved

    do you really expect cops to bust down your friends door because you brought your tv over and it got stolen at a later date?

    The PS4 is being plagued by network errors. So many people are pissed about paying a subscription to the PSN and can't even play. They are saying as well they should have gotten an XB1. Besides, I couldn't have been the only one to know that by buying
    a console at launch that there might be problems. Xbox has sold 3 millions consoles and if you compare that to the people whose consoles that aren't working, it's not that bad of an error margin.

    I AGREE the customer service needs improving there is a chat you can try its in the customer support section next to chat with ambassador. i belive there only open though 9 -5 monday threw friday that may be a option for you i am in same boat as you ive
    baught 1 sent it back to store and got another faulty one this one i recieved dosent have a wifi that will stay connected and kicks me off then says no wifi installed so i feel your pain also if u can wait i belive there is a option to have microsoft call
    you if u want u can call support and follow the prompts they willcall you back on the phone. but in all fairness I belive there should be some compensation for your troubles and i would ask if there is any if u call heres number18004699269

    The exact same thing is happing to me now. Shipped the power brick and nothing has come back. No one in support has a clue what is going on. Basically pissed away $500 on a couple pieces of plastic that can't be used. Buying a day one edition was a very
    bad mistake. Should have waited at least a year or so.

    Dude, I was a cop, don't try to tell me what they do and don't do. You are wrong. And, FYI, I have solved crimes INSTANTLY and have returned property INSTANTLY. I've been to domestics and made arrests on the spot. I have caught and arrested shop lifters
    within minutes of the store calling AND returned the shop lifted items the same day.

    YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
