    A week back I bought an Xbox One with a 12M gold subscription. Everything was working perfectly fine until I noticed that my outlook.com account is still showing India region and decided to move to US by submitting a request here
    Sign in to your Microsoft account.

    Since that day, everything has been going haywire and I truly hope someone here can fix this at the earliest. I did contact xbox support and was on call for over an hour, but nothing much was accomplished and I advised me to give it about 2 weeks for migration
    to complete. But things have turned worse lately and worn off my patience to wait until March 15th which is when xbox support said they would call back to check on my case. They did escalate my case, but I have not heard back from anyone since then.

    Here are the issues I am facing post migration request:

    • Every time I login to Xbox one, it shows the agreement page.
    • I always have to sign in though controller.
    • It randomly signs me out and takes again I have to sign in using controller after accepting the terms of agreement again.
    • The signing out process is frustrating when watching a video/movie. Sign back in, open the app again, go to the movie/video I was watching, fast forward and continue watching only to be signed out a while later.
    • Its more frustrating when to be signed out while playing a game. The mission progress is not saved and the game goes back to the main menu. I need to sign back in and replay the mission, all the time being aware that I could be signed out any moment.

    Alright ... so the guys at support tell me it takes 10-20 workdays for the MS guys in the US to process my request - well, that's a bummer - they should have mentioned that in their infos on region migration in the first place ...

    Do you physically live in the India or the us?

    If in India you will have problems with dlc

    only disk games are region free and alot of dlc is region locked

    Yes it can take up to 30 days for migration to complete

    Escalation may speed things up but they probably won't contact you till it is complete but don't expect 30 days to turn into 2 weeks

    it is usually suggested you wait the 30 days then call for escalation

  7. I migrated earlier before I bought Xbox One... From czech republic to UK. Now on Xbox One I have US in settings. So I live in CZ, witch UK account and US store... Everything is allright, for now.

    I want migrate back to czech republic, but what I read, there is a lot of problem with this. I have all games from US store, so I dont want lose them.

    I migrated earlier before I bought Xbox One... From czech republic to UK. Now on Xbox One I have US in settings. So I live in CZ, witch UK account and US store... Everything is allright, for now.

    I want migrate back to czech republic, but what I read, there is a lot of problem with this. I have all games from US store, so I dont want lose them.
