    Just had the same prob too. No character shadow, just a water bubble character outline. We'd slice the start and it's just keep on spinning. Try explaining a glitch to an autistic 4 year old..

    Anyway, when restarting the game and restarting the xbox one (not power cycling it) didn't work I signed out everyone individually and apparently that got it to work. My shadow popped up and I was finally able to "slice to start".

    Hope it helps or you guys found another workaround.

  2. MIRCOSOFT XBOX ONE users are sick of doing these steps .

    we have tried them all after one of your updates the game has stopped working.

    i have emailed and got tickets from game maker but no replies .

    We are feeling very upset and ripped off . we buy the game thro you .and ask for your help in pressuring some to fix the game Please or refund and take game off the market .

    some one please help.

    I concur with the anger shown by the other users feeling 'ripped off' on here!!

    I started this thread thinking that Microsoft would properly investigate and fix the bugs, now I feel completely let down. We all bought the game in good faith and don't expect to have a game which has major bugs in it. The fact that we can't use our own
    profile is a MAJOR problem, as we can't save any progress on the game. The only way to play the game is not to choose a profile, which is ridiculous. Telling us to delete the profile and restore it etc masks the fact that
    FRUIT NINJA KINECT 2 HAS BUGS IN IT!!

    Why are Microsoft and Halfbrick Studios not bothered about this problem? Don't they want to admit that they are selling a game with bugs in it? If this was COD, then the publicity would force the developers to fix the game immediately.

    I don't have ANY profile problems with my other games, so all this rubbish about deleting profiles is just a smokescreen.

    Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 has bugs in it, so either fix it or
    REFUND OUR MONEY!!!

    I have the same issue as mentioned above. It simply will not start except when I cancel the 'select profile' step during startup.

    Doing so, the Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 works fine on the Xbox, but without scoring progress on my profile :-(

    So un-installing, rebooting, removing profile is just a poor but expected 'helpdesk' answer

    This is a bug, making it useless to play..

    Not sure, but I suppose this started after I played the game with 2 persons at once.

    I found a work-around for this Fruit Ninja profile/start issue:

    1. Start Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 on the Xbox One.

    2. When prompted to confirm your Xbox Live profile, select cancel (as mentioned remedy above)

    3. Enter main screen by slicing 'select'...as this should work now ;-)

    4. In main screen, go to settings.

    5a. Settings menu enables you connect to your profile.

    5b. Also, you might want/need to erase your existing game profile here...cleaning up you older Fruit Ninja scores but possibly also erasing the cause of this 'bug'...

    Did the trick for me! Slicing fruits again!

    I've had the same annoying difficulties. The game worked fine for a few days after the purchase then suddenly unlike any other of my games this one didn't want to connect.

    The Sakkerju's tip did work (after several tries : 5a step loaded indefinitly and 5b didn't prevent the slicing fruit bug neither). After another attempt I can now finally smash that *** title screen fruit so thanks. I was only level 3 so I didn't mind but
    erasing a profile is certainly not a definitive solution given that it could occur again.

    I'm the original poster and I have NOT marked any of the replies as being correct. Microsoft or Halfbrick have not fixed this bug - SHAME ON THEM!!

    MissDiggz, I assume you work for Microsoft in some capacity so I don't know why your reply was marked as an answer to my question - as it isn't. It didn't work and it's not a fix for the bug in the code. We do not want a workaround, we want Microsoft to
    get Halfbrick to release a fix for the bug. I have no idea why the developers can't fix a bug in their own code, but this would never happen to COD etc.

    I've clicked on the 'Reject Answer' link against each reply to signify that there is no fix for the bug. Hope you agree NotableMouse123 as we are in agreement here!

    Thanks for the clarification and update, it's greatly appreciated! I'm sorry to see that this issue is still occurring on your end, so I definitely understand any frustrations you may have.

    I certainly have been reading yours and everyone else's posts in this thread, however I offered the power cycling steps above in order to exhaust all troubleshooting steps and as it could be helpful in what you're experiencing. It also can be a way to narrow
    down the root cause of an issue and rule certain factors out.

    allanm69 and everyone else - If you're still experiencing this issue, I would next suggest giving the steps below a shot when you have a chance, to see if we can get this resolved.

    I'm having the exactly same problem. The game was fine several days ago. This problem occurred after I updated the console today. I'm not sure if it is the update that caused this problem. It is so annoying!
