    Fruit Ninja profile problem


    When I start Fruit Ninja by swiping the start button, it asks me to select my profile. If I select my profile, it then go back to the same screen asking me to swipe to start. If I swipe, then it doesn't start the game no matter how many times I swipe. However,
    if i don't select my profile when asked, the game works perfectly. This has only started happening this evening, as the game started perfectly with my profile earlier today.

    Is this problem related to the partial issues affecting Xbox Video etc?

    Same problem. Downloaded Fruit Ninja today Aug20 and is stuck wanting update.

    Quick question

    Hey guys for Christmas I recieved a Kinect bundle with Kinect adventures and the Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja Kinect downloadable codes. My question is Im currently away from my Xbox console but am able to use a family members Xbox to test out the Kinect
    sensor if I recover my profile on there console and log in and redeem the Gunstringer/Fruit Ninja Kinect code on my profile when I go home and recover my profile on my Xbox will the full versions of Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja Kinect still be transfered to
    my account or will it stay on the other Xbox? Thanks in advance for all replies.

    What you're experiencing seems a bit odd, but thank you for explaining what's going on.

    Just to further clarify, what Fruit Ninja are you referring to exactly? Is the game Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 on Xbox One?

    I am also having this exact same issue. I can't get past the title screen if I select a profile after I slice the fruit. If I don't select a profile I can get into the game but there's really no point since it won't save my progress if I do that. It's Fruit
    Ninja Kinect 2 on the Xbox One.

    I'm having the same problem and I'm not too happy about it. I just bought this game yesterday. It wont let me play when im signed in. But will if I dont. But what's the point if I cant keep track of everything. It's fruit ninja 2 on the xbox one.

    Hey everyone,

    Thanks for the clarification! When you guys have a chance, let's try out some troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this sorted.

    • Power Cycle your Xbox One console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is completely off, unplug the console from the power source and give it a few minutes.
    • Then, plug all the cords back in and turn on your console.
    • Try launching Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 again.

    I am indeed referring to Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 on Xbox One.

    Without wishing to sound ungrateful, did you actually read what I wrote before sending that generic message about power-cycling my Xbox one?

    There isn't a problem with my Xbox One, its solely to do with selecting my profile when playing Fruit Ninja Kinect 2. As others have reported, the game works fine if I don't select a profile - but you then can't save any progress. I have no problem selecting
    my profile when playing any other game on my Xbox One, so this is solely related to Fruit Ninja Kinect 2.

    For the record, I've 'quit' the game from the Xbox One home screen and the Xbox has been power cycled many times during normal use. There is OBVIOUSLY a problem with the game, or the connection to Xbox Live for the profile information. I'm not a not Xbox
    Live Gold member, if that has any baring on the problem. I'm sure that the game did allow me to select my profile initially, even though I'm not a Gold member.

    I'm having the exactly same problem. The game was fine several days ago. This problem occurred after I updated the console today. I'm not sure if it is the update that caused this problem. It is so annoying!

    Thanks for the clarification and update, it's greatly appreciated! I'm sorry to see that this issue is still occurring on your end, so I definitely understand any frustrations you may have.

    I certainly have been reading yours and everyone else's posts in this thread, however I offered the power cycling steps above in order to exhaust all troubleshooting steps and as it could be helpful in what you're experiencing. It also can be a way to narrow
    down the root cause of an issue and rule certain factors out.

    allanm69 and everyone else - If you're still experiencing this issue, I would next suggest giving the steps below a shot when you have a chance, to see if we can get this resolved.

    Fruit Ninja profile problem

    After uninstalling the game, removing my profile, power cycling the Xbox One, re-adding the profile and installing the game, it still doesn't work if you select your profile from within the game. This is obviously a bug within the game, as my other games
    work perfectly.

    I have have paid for a game in good faith, so the least I should expect is for it to actually work!

    Who can I contact to get some recourse here?

    Are the programmers at Halfbrick Studios aware that a major bug exists in their software?

    I've posted a question on their website, so I'll update you if I get a response.

  15. I have also been having this problem, got this game 6 weeks ago and haven't been able to play it the last month because it won't let me slice the fruit to start...have searched online for a fix and so for nothing. I wouldn't have bought the game if I knew
    it had a bug, seems like plenty of people are experiencing this issue, hopefully a fix will show up soon. So frustrating as I'm not a gamer, but play this game more so than others because its fun when it works. I was gonna get ripped this summer too SMH.
