    When ever I start up my Xbox it takes at least 2-3 minutes but what makes it so bad is that when i get on it freezes and i cannot navigate the dash board and if it doesn't freeze whenever i start up a game it black screens and freezes and says it took to
    long to start. Also if i do make it online everything is blacked out. eg my friends gamerpic wont appear, the picture of the game that i want to play wont appear, messsages wont load

    i really need assistance please!

    When you are able to let's try a fresh start and unplug the console and your router/modem for a full 5 minutes. After that has completed please check if the behavior continues. If it does, please check your

    detailed network stats     and look to see if anything seems out of place. You will want to compare your speeds there to our

    Thanks I've been through all the troubleshooting. Even had customer support guide me through but had to end chat to click email for directions to offline update which didn't work. Can the accounts connected to Xbox corrupt it?

    That's not possible. The firmware does not start the xbox navigation. The options I have are restart, reset defaults, offline update and turn off.
