Froze during update.

I just bought and Xbox series x and I have to do an update before I can use it. Step worked fine but as soon as it went to step 2 "verification" it got to 2% and froze. I've turned it off and on a few times, power cycled it and nothing worked, I even tried to reset Xbox using the bind button and big x but that just turned the Xbox off or on based on the state it was in when I tried the reset. Any help would be great I've had nothing but problems since I upgraded from regular Xbox one.
