    Froze during update, Now shows black screen


    Hi all,

    Bought an original xbox one and after loading through 2 patches, I get a message saying it failed which subsequently led to the console freezing. I had to power it off by holding the power button as my controller didn't respond.

    Now whenever I turn it on, it's just a black screen; Controller doesn't detect the console, and basically the console just goes quiet (like it's not even running).

    I've tried the following solutions online:

    Power Cycling doesn't work

    Low Resolution Mode: Can't get that to work for some reason...I hold the power button and eject button at the same time right? I've held it for over a minute and don't hear the second beep

    Factory Reset Through a USB: Same as instructed, held the power button then eject and bind button at the same time; Again held it for over a minute and don't hear the extra beeps

    Power Brick Reset: I've pulled the cord many many times to no avail

    Any help or suggestions would be great appreciated! Thanks~

    downloaded the new update for halo wars de and now my screen is black during gameplay. Wth?

    Sorry to hear about the issue. If you've run through all the suggestions on the

    troubleshooter    , then unfortunately it sounds like your Xbox One console may be in need of repairs. You can initiate that process via the
    Online Service Center.

    Yes I tried the offline system update tool. The update froze at 66% every time and went back to the black screen.

    So my Xbox was stuck on the green start up screen done a fully factory reset and now it’s just stop on 50% properly console how do I fix this ?

    Yes I have tried the usb offline reset. Well tried it once it rested during the update and then came up with an error so done it again and it froze on changing my language to English. I had put in my WiFi then it asked to update console to change the language then froze for an hour or so.

    Now the xbox won’t show any picture on the tv it just says no signal.
