Frontier FiOS w/ **** QIP 7232

Just got set up with Frontier FiOS in the Seattle area and I can't get the QIP 7232 2 set-top box to work with Xbox One. Most of the time it will flash black then static, then black. Sometimes audio is working and I can hear the TV program, but no video.
Once in a while I can get the video to display but almost immediately, the box displays a message saying that the HDMI is compromised... Any help?

I have the same problem. Frontier FIOS QIP 7232 DVR works great hooked up to my Sony receiver. Get this error when I put the Xbox One between the STB and receiver. Failboat. So much for TV TV TV. I thought hey, MAYBE the Xbox One will be great for TV
since its weak on the gaming power front. Nope. Write it off, MS, go back to the drawing board.

 

Live TV Issue

ZOMBIETOM TZA - can you please tell which receiver you got? Does it work CableBox -> Xbox1 -> AV -> TV. I am on Frontier Fios Motorola QIP 7216 P1

 

Oh and I've tried different HDMI cables. Hooking it directly up to my Onkyo receiver works fine. Setup is STB -> Xbox One -> Onkyo Receiver -> TV

 

Hey there ioamnesia,

It sounds like the STB doesn't support pass through technology via the Xbox One. Have you been able to contact Frontier FiOS about this issue yet? They would have all of the technical information to let you know if it's compatible or not. Have you been able
to use the STB when connected directly to the TV or possibly try another HDMI cable with the STB?
