    hello everyone, yes I am aware of how to properly press the bumpers, but let me say this:

    2 or 3 years back when I actually played on consoles, I always pressed directly towards myself with my fingertip on the innermost part of the bumper, this usually increased the life expectancy of the bumpers and is how I am comforatable as I have huge hands.

    so:

    I don't play xbone but I am looking to get a pc controller, one of my old friends had a gamestop one controller I believe, and the bumpers pressed like 360 ones no problem, rather than only on the sides, was this part of the revision or what? where can I
    find controllers like this?

    unpacked my christmas xbox one - plugged it in - and nothing it doesnt work at all

    Did you press the Xbox logo on the front?

    Have you tried the display controllers at Gamestop to see if they are what you want? Most of the time they have a display system or used controllers in plastic that should be easily able to tell if it's what you like.

    These controllers are a lot more stiff than the 360 controllers were. After a week of good gaming the controller breaks in and the buttons are a lot more forgiving. Times and technology change and somethings don't work the same. I'm on my second Elite
    controller in less than 7 months because the thumbstick sensors wore out and moved on their own...

    These controllers are a lot more stiff than the 360 controllers were. After a week of good gaming the controller breaks in and the buttons are a lot more forgiving. Times and technology change and somethings don't work the same. I'm on my second Elite
    controller in less than 7 months because the thumbstick sensors wore out and moved on their own...

    Can't connect to XBOX live on one XBOX but I can on another?

    Could you delete the system update intalled on your Xbox and reinstall system software. Follow the steps up front how to do this.

    Turn off your console. Press and hold the sync button (the small one you use to connect your wireless controllers). While holding press the power button to turn your console on. Continue to hold the sync button until the console is completely booted up.

    Go to System Settings and choose storage.

    On your controller, press the following button sequence:

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.

    Press the left bumper.

    Press the right bumper.

    Press the X button.
