From a bit of time when I try to open some of my games this happens

It seems to happen from time to time. I remember it happened once after an update and some gamers had to reinstall some of their games. I had all my games on an external drive and I was not affected when it happened that time.

Most of the time stick drift is irreversible. Try the compressed air method to clean it out first, but don't open up the controller as that will void any warranties.

Some game shops will open them up for you, but that can cost as much as just buying a new controller.

If you can, making the deadzone on the sticks bigger (in some games' settings) can reduce the drift.

I wouldn't be too terribly worried about a little drift one time--sometimes sticks get pushed a bit to one side when you set the controller down. If it starts happening consistently, then you should consider repair/replacement.

If you try closing and opening the game the same happens?
(Can be a bit dumb, bit restart the PC instead)

When I reset my modem/router it goes back to "open". This seems to happen from time to time.

I find it good open world game. If you have the time go for it .
