    Is there an easy way to view who of your friends is online and what they are currently playing, I thought xbox.com would allow you but it just says playing Xbox One

    I guess that xbox.com won't be updating for XB1 then, just need to use smartglass Friends :)

    Hey folks! Hang in there, it looks like Live is experiencing some heavy issues right now. When I checked status at about 5PM, these errors were limited to purchasing and using content. Now the Status page itself is giving numerous runtime/server errors,
    so it's a safe bet it's being worked on. No ETA just yet because, like I said, the status page is down. Keep an eye on xbox.com/status and, when it comes back up, it will likely have information on these Friend List and party issues that have just cropped
    up.

    My xbox makes me want to punch myself! There is an issue almost daily! Sometimes I can't even sign into my profile. I know venting like this does no good, but right now its the only thing from keeping me from using that thing as a frisbee!

    Could not Edit - you can see a Friend of a Friend IF you played a game with them... So if that happened that is why you were able to see their friends.

    As far as I can remember you could only go 1 friend in to see friends - You could never go Friend A then Friend A's Friends - not that I can recall atleast.

    That makes sense. However, if the friend of friend is already on your friendlist, I would think the same rule would apply whether you played with them or not.

    No friends in friends list

    Same issue for me as well. Moved from xbox 360 to xbox one a month ago and I cannot see any xbox one friends on my new console, only initial xbox 360 friends list.
