Friends Xbox live subscription

Dear Xbox,

About 1 month ago I have posted about a friend who was banned for posting a troll message on Xbox live. He didn't he was doing any harm by just sending a message and he got banned. He got banned like a few weeks after his 1 year subscription. We have tried
to post at console and bans but have been told that the ban stays. It is kinda harsh for just a message but okay. So we went in the Xbox live chat and have talked about if its possible to get the xbox live subscription on another account. The woman from the
chat has advised me to tell it again in a post so I will try again. Is it possible to get his subscription on another account or did he just waste 1 year subscription. I would like a message back if possible please.

Congrats! The Live subscription works for both the 360 and Xbox One. It's not different subscriptions.

Unfortunately, when a ban is issued...ALL items (Gold, Currency and Marketplace purchases) are forfeit entirely. Your friend will not be reimbursed for the lost Gold time.

I am sorry to say that he can not add that subscription to another account. When a ban takes place, you loose everything associated with that account. That is why it is always best to follow the rules.

More does not equal losing. Your friend agree'd to the rules when he signed up. It's his own fault for getting into trouble shortly after redeeming the code.

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your friend is being asked to purchase Xbox Live Gold when he tries playing with you. The multiplayer features of Xbox Live require that both accounts have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. An
account that doesn't have an Xbox Live Gold subscription can still play online if another

account that does have Xbox Live Gold is sharing it through the home console feature. Your friend will need to get Xbox Live Gold in order to play with you. We hope this information helps
