    i had the friends tab and my xbox randomly restarted coming from tv to trials fusion ( which was suspended in ram while i watched tv) upon returning my xbox restarted and my friends tab had now gone.... any one else ?

    Just do a dashboard refresh. That usually brings it back.

    (Hold both triggers and press 'Y' when on the dashboard)

    I was wondering about this too.

    If it is only going to select users, is there any info on when all users will have it?

    I thought this feature was supposed to make it in the August update. It's the September update and I still don't have it.

    there currently is a known issue with friends on the xbox consoles and smart glass, please periodically check this link for any status updates regarding the issue:

    Not everyone has the friends tab on the dashboard at the moment, just a few.

    More users are being added in time.

    From invite to receiving your welcome message can take up to 7 days. (Not everyone is selected)

    If you mean the software build your console is running, it can be found in System / Console info.

    If you mean which update wave you are in, you don't know unless you get an update specifically for wave one and your console updates.

    If it doesn't update, you're in wave 2.
