Friends tab on Xbox one homescreen

Where is the friends on the homescreen. Wasn't it suppose to be on this update? Well I didn't get it or am I supposed to turn that feature on.

August Dashboard Update: Friends Section...Thoughts?

Here are mu thoughts on the new friends tab. It's obviously still fresh, so my opinion could definitely change over time as I get used to it. Now with that in mind, I guess I'll just discuss some pro's and con's.

Pro's:

- I do like the leaderboard section since it does create a sense of bragging rights and competition between friends, even though it really is completely pointless.

- It's nice having the friends under it's own tab since it gives information about who is online and what they are doing without actually having to open up the app.

Con's:

- The removal of the friends tile from the homescreen has caused the new friends tab to overlap to the left, and it looks kind of weird since the other tabs all fit in the screen perfectly. As a result, the homescreen looks rather bland now since there is no personalized feel to it anymore.

- The size of the friends that are online tile is also unnecessarily large because it only cycles between friends one-by-one. It would be much better if they made that tile smaller to include several friends at once, or even just let us switch it to favorites instead of all friends.

- They also removed the activity alerts and the number of messages you have, so now if you want to see them, you have to open the friend app.

- The "popular with friends" section also does not really do anything; it just shows that some of your friends have played this game recently instead of showing who is actually playing what.

 

Missing gold tab on homescreen

Well, as I said, the account you're posting with is showing as Silver. If you believe that it should still be Gold and you are still able to access Gold items then you'll need to contact phone support for more assistance as only they will be able to figure

Nar m8 Xbox are rolling freinds tab out in near future the just got to activate it for us early preview but have u had the 1409 update yet the other day

 

I havent got those updates. Does anyone know why the friends tab isnt working?

 

The friends tab isn't available to everyone just yet, only a few have it. It will be rolled out to more users soon. )

One of my consoles is on 1408 and has the friends tab and the other is on 1409 with no friends tab.

 

how long does it take for the invite for preview. how do u know which console you have?

 

From invite to receiving your welcome message can take up to 7 days. (Not everyone is selected)

If you mean the software build your console is running, it can be found in System / Console info.

If you mean which update wave you are in, you don't know unless you get an update specifically for wave one and your console updates.

If it doesn't update, you're in wave 2.

Only Microsoft know that I'm afraid Terminator.

Think you would have to be a good boy with no previous naughty Xbox Live warnings etc for one.

Then maybe down to which users they are still looking for, Country, Language etc.

Just speculating here as I don't really know.

I just offered everyone jelly babies and it seemed to work for me LOL ;o)

That's good, just have to carry on waiting a little while longer I guess.

i can't find friends tab on home screen too anyone have a solution,

 

Not everyone has the friends tab on the dashboard at the moment, just a few.

More users are being added in time.

 

i dont have the Friends tab too i don't know why .. i talk to the customer service but they can't give me any solution !
