    Friends Showing up as Offline


    I have 2 Friends that keep showing up as offline, but they are online and they see me as offline as well. I have tryed resetting my xbox one, remove and my profile, any and everything i can think of.

    try removing your profile then restarting your xbox then readd your profile

    My friend is showing up as offline and can’t receiver my messages or invitations and i can’t receive his i know he isn’t appearing offline I checked my privacy settings, signed out then back in, And Also tried hard resetting my xbox

    Anyone have any idea of how to fix this issue? Is it me or something they have to do or fix? or is it a Microsoft issue?

    Just Checked no im not part of it, and it seems to be only a select few of my friends who show up as offline even well they are online, and a few others will show up as offline and not as "offline xmin agoe playing ect ect."

    I think that I have read that there is a glitch with the preview update that causes a similar issue. Are they in the preview program? Also, check to make sure in your profile (and theirs) that Appear Offline is not selected.

    Im showing up as online and they dont have the preiew program at all, and others see them as online as well it seems to be an issue with me > them.

    The two Friends that i have the issue with are Galixie Sterne and Toasty The Fox. I can never tell when they are online and they can tell when I am online but, others I know that have them on there list as well can see them and me when they come online.

    Is your account (or the other 2) a child account? This may be caused by privacy settings?

    Friends Showing up as Offline

    I have a very similar issue. I have one friend that it shows hes offline. Shown he's been offline for a month, but i called him and he said hes on every day. We're trying to figure it out but so far I haven't figured it out.

    I always show up as offline too. It's frustrating--I've checked my privacy settings so many times and should show up as online. Can't figure it out.
