Friends online pop up notification not showing

I cant tell whenever they go online because the notification doesn't show up. Problem has been going on a few days now ever since they had that outage. Please fix this problem

Notifications aka Toast pop up Alerts Not working

I been noticing as time wears on Notifications stated not showing up for Skype Friends jumping online etc it seems to be sporadic intermittent some times never on Day one first start everything was working well then it stop working I noticed the Notification
box getting pretty full the Notifications show up in History Just the pop Dialog or Toast aren't working quite right.

 

No Friend Notifications on xbox LIVE

Hey, me and my friends are experincing a bug where we are not being notified when a friend comes online. We are still getting notifications for messages and we allow all notifications at all times. However, we are not getting a pop-up notification when a
friend come online.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

The first step to getting the issue fixed for you is to check the notification settings. To do this:

1. Press the Xbox button to return to Home.

2. Press the Menu button, and then select Settings.

3. In the Console settings column, select Preferences.

4. After entering into this menu, you should see a box that says "Sign in and broadcasts". Make sure this is set to all friends.

Be sure to let us know if this works for you.

 

I have been having the same issue for about 4 days now. I'm also not getting them come through on smart glass. I have tested 3 different tablet / phones.

 

Forza boy 7 I already checked the preferences and it is set to all friends. It still doesnt work. I already chatted with xbox support and I did all of the troubleshooting steps by doing the hard reset.

Yeah same is happening to me. It started happening right after the Xbox Live outage. All appropriate settings have been adjusted for but still nothing Hope it gets fixed soon.
