Friends online notifications not popping up

I talked With some friends on my friendslist, and they all said they had problems With no Notifications popping up, when friends sign in. So its obviously something very wrong

Same issue, and party functionality is not right ever since this started. Sometimes party chat will loose the little microphone circle next to people and you have to recreate the party from scratch to try and fix. Tried all the trouble shooting options and
double checked to make sure no one got bumped into game chat by accident. Really frustrating when the reason I pay for gold is to play online with friends. Pls fix your problem.

Same thing happened to me, all of a sudden it doesn't show when my friends get online... Any fixes yet?

Update. It looks like the friend list notification on Xbox and Smartglass is working again. Dec 12th !

For me at leat.

Yeah! It seems like the friends signing-in Notifications are finally working again. I have been getting Notifications all day, when friends are signing in. Hopefully it stays this way now

this needs to be fixed! its really starting to get frustrating.

Sounds like the dev team is in Xmas mode, meaning work is happening at a snail's pace. almost a million consoles have been bought from Black Friday and I'm sure there is going to be plenty more during the holidays meaning lots of Xbox's will be turned on
this month. I'm hoping MS is on top of this and making sure everything is working and running smoothly. The last thing you want is a flaky console when you first turn it on.

You can say that again! The OS is absolutely terrible! It's not only slow but it's flaky and decides to just not work sometimes. I've already swapped my xbox one out with a new one and it's still terrible. Want it even more flaky? Put it in standby
mode. If it's one thing this pile of junk needs it's a full reboot every time.
