Friends online notifications not popping up

This is still an issue w/ Xbox One and Smartglass. It's been a week at the least for me.

Notifications for Messages are not Popping up.

Xbox One : I made sure every preference box was checked so that all notifications would be visible but they are definitely not popping up. No messages, no friends are online no nothing. Achievements/Clip Recorded Message/Installed and etc. All work. There
ARE still notifications for messages right?

 

Things just get worse

No thanks, if they enable the "X friend has come online" notification ill end up just turning off all notifications like I did on the 360, it was bad enough with 100 friends; with the higher limit it would just be constant popping of notifications, maybe there is a case for some granularity and being able to select notifications for specific friends but im pretty cool with how it is now.

 

I got the same problem. I bought the Launch edition (Day one edition) of Xbox One 1 year ago (I am an Preview member). I sold it back in March, this year. But yesterday, I bought the white "Sunset Overdrive" edition again. And I have turned on all Notifications
(Activated Notifications for ALL FRIENDS), but still I dont get a single Notification when anyone signs in (Favourites or Friends). At first I worried I got an faulty Xbox... But then I found this thread, and saw lots of People got the same problem)

 

Has anybody found a solution to this problem? Are there a lot of people having the same problem as me? Ever since the outage a few days ago, I cant see the pop up notification when my friends go online. I could still see them when I check my friends.

 

I have tried everything (Since I got a brand New console I bought yesterday). I even formated my Xbox One (reset it back to facotry settings), recovered my gamertag again. Went to settings, turned off all Notifications, restarted the console. Turned on all
"Notifications" (For all friends). And still.. Nada.. I even made multiple friends sign in and out for me (Still no pop-up Notification). What is wrong?

I'm an preview member. It worked fine on my previous console (Day One console.. All from the beta testing of the Notifications, to the full release of the functions). But it simply does not work on my New console. Is everyone else in the preview programe?

 

This is still broken, whats the deal microsoft?

 

I have this issue too I am in the uk ,glad ive found others with the same issue as was thinking it could be my xbox

 

It is still not working for Xbox and Smartgals !?! 1 week now! Fix it please.

What's the deal with the notification on Xbox one

 

I'm having this problem too. Not sure when it started. I'm not in the preview program either.

 

Since owning a Xbox one I never get notifications when friends come online weather it's set to all friends or favourites I do get party invites and stuff tho but it is so annoying constantly having to check friends list any help on what to do would be appreciated
!!!?

P.s seems so crazy that the so called next gen console has gone backwards in a few ways !!

 

Sure would be nice if Microsoft would get back to anybody so we know what's going with notifications
