    Friends online list not showing notifications at all now


    I came home after taking a vacation and turned my Xbox on and where it's supposed to say how many friends are online in the menu tab is gone. I get my message notifications but now you have to move the tab over to see how many of your friends are online
    instead of pressing the Xbox button and seeing how many are on. Is this just an issue all of a sudden or is it permanent. Please fix, thank you

    D33dies - my xbox 360 friends show on my friends list on my xbox one, but are you saying that they wont ccme up as a notification when they come online ?
    Yeah, no popup for 360 friends.

    No you are not missing any settings, this feature isnt supported on the Xbox One currently.

    Any friends that are online though will appear at the front of your friends list, usually with a little green dot next to their names to show they are online, so need to scroll your entire list to find them.

    Hopefully we see friend notifications added in a future update :)

    I'm not getting any notifications for friends coming online either, messages, party invites etc. all show up though.

    Hello,

    Xbox One doesn't have notifications for friends signing in. With the friends list expanding to 1000, they chose not to turn these on because with large friends lists you'd have popups all the time.

    Right now the best way to keep tabs on what people you care about are are doing and when they go online/offline is to mark them as Favorites, then use the Activity app.
