    Friends on xbox one appear online but aren't on my 360


    Every friend in my friends list says they are offline but 1 is showing up. He has the 360 but I have another friend that doesn't show and he's on the xbox one. (Those are the only 2 that are online) On my xbox one, it say they are both online. What do I
    do? Recently I went to storage and enabled my cloud save but I didn't move anything on it. I deleted a few old games like oblivion though.

    I have tried to change my child's Xbox 360 online settings on parental account but it will never appear Xbox one online settings will appear but never 360

    Some friends always appearing as offline.

    I have this issue with two of my friends. Added one on 360 and the other through Xbox One. Neither of them show online to me even though they are and we've checked all the settings...

    I also have two friends whom I added on my 360, who only play 360, but do not show on that friends list. But they do appear in my xbox one friends list. I didn't even have xbox one when I added them

    Xbox friends aren't appearing

    Hey David!

    Sounds like the console would benefit from doing a

    soft factory reset     (While keeping games and apps) so everything gets updated at the same time. Go ahead and try it and let us know how it goes!

    I had the same issue. It's because your new Xbox One friends aren't on your 360 friends' list. You need to send them a friend invite from your 360 or you can do it online from your computer:

    - Log in,

    - go to "friends",

    - select the friend in question,

    - and then under that person's "Friends" drop down menu, select "send request - Xbox 360".
