Friends on 360 can't see me as Online when I'm on my Xbox One

Good afternoon,

Until a few days ago, friends on the Xbox 360 could see me as Online when I logged on my Xbox One. Now it shows me as being Offline and I have no idea why! I have not changed anything settings-wise but I'm open to suggestions and am curious to know if anyone
else has that issue.

Did this ever get solved? I'm having the exact same problem. Since getting an Xbox One none of my friends on xbox 360 can see me as online when I'm on. I've checked my privacy settings on both consoles and both are set to appera online.

Xbox One shows "???" when friends play Xbox 360 games

Hi! I have a problem that affects me and all my friends. On our Xbox Ones, when other players play Xbox 360 games, we can't see what they are playing. Xbox One shows they are playing "???". On Xbox 360, I can tottally see what my friends are playing on either
Xbox One and Xbox 360. On Xbox.com I can also see what every of my friends is playing. But on Xbox One, I can only see what friends are playing on Xbox One or Windows platforms, not on the 360. Any fix on that would be appreciated! Thanks!

 

Hello Brrr2959,

This is just a shot in the dark but you could try a hard reset. To do so, hold the Xbox One power button for about 5 seconds, then your console will turn off. Then just turn it back on, please let us know if this works.

 

Make sure your are appearing online aswell my friends couldn't see me either

 

Messiah is correct in checking you online/offline setting. Because once you set it to offline, it will stay that way until you change it back. No matter if you turn the console off for the night. And come back later, you will
still be showing offline.

 

I'm having the same problem but backwards. They can see me on 360 but not xb1. I have hard booted several time and checked that I'm a set to appear online (I am)
