Friends Notification Issue

Hey guys.

Bit of a strange one this, been talking with @xboxsupport on twitter but not found a solution yet.

I recently removed someone from my friends list who was someone on the list carried over from the 360 days.

Even though they have been removed and do not show up on any of the friends list on Xbox One, Xbox.com and 360 I still get pop up notifications when they come on-line.

I'm running the current build of the Preview update.

anyone else come across this before?

Looking for group notifications

I am also having this issue, as well as a friend of mine. I have tried turning select notifications off, such as group and party notifications. My friend has tried turning notifications off entirely. Neither attempt to stop the notifications has worked.

 

What are your favorite new things the X1 can do now after all dem epic updates?

- Controller battery notification
- Friends online notification

I am also running the preview update. I have not run into this issue.

Have you tried blocking them?

I'll check back to see the result of that if you would like to try it.

 

Tried blocking them and yet I still get the notification when they come online, can't think of anything else to try....

Could you shoot me a private message with the gamertags that you are trying to block? Also have you tried blocking from
Friends on Xbox.com? Search the GT from that page and attempt blocking from their profile on Xbox.com. If that doesn't work out, shoot me that PM and we'll do our best to help you get
it sorted.

If I try block them from their profile page on xbox.com it shows them as already blocked.
