    friends not showing as online


    hi all iv seen this in the forums already but didn't see anything to say what is going on, me and a friend have just got the xbox one s, just gone to meet each other online and were both are showing offline, been through the settings and we are the same
    set up, we haven't or never blocked each other, we can join a party but still shows us as offline even thow we are online. can anyone help for suggestions of what it could be.

    for me its 0 friends online even though there are people online i check my friends list and no one is there i need explanations

    Friends not showing up as online...

    Hey StrikeKnight57, before you get into anything too crazy check the basics first.

    1. What is your NAT type showing as?

    2. What are your friends (that you can't connect with) NAT's showing as?

    3. Can the people that you are having issues with see you?

    4. Are you receiving messages from the problematic friends and vice a versa?

    Let me know and maybe we can help you out a little more.

    Yeah, it just started with me today. Friends go off and on every few seconds but with no notification popping up saying that "SOSO" is online. I really hope they can fix this bug.

    No official answers to this yet then? It seems odd to me that for alot of people it sempt to happen more or less at the same time....I haven't done the verification process thing but it is still happening for me....

    Same issue. Notification when i log in says I have friends online...which they are, but the appear offline in mt friends list and in games. I can only join a game when they invite me because according to my xbox they are offline! I have checked all my settings,
    everything is right....as there are a few of us that this has happened to around about the same time, i'm guessing it's a MS issue??

    deleted friend showing online?

    Not sure. Why not re add him for a couple of minutes so you can go to his bio and select Avoid then Block. See if you still get notifications after that.
