Friends not receiving messages or friend request

There is a weird 3 hour delay whenever an xbox one user sends a message to an xbox 360 player. Strangley if the xbox 360 user sends a message to an xbox one user it will show immediatley. I first found out about this glitch because my xbox g.f. was asking
why it took me so long to respond. We later figured out it was because this unfixed glitch. You can forcibly send the delayed messages in 2 ways; if another xbox360 user sends you a message it wil send the delayed message at the same time. The other method
is to send yourself a message (yes this is possible) when you recieve your own message it will also send the delayed message as well.

*Im not sure if this is true for everyone or just a glitch on me particularilly.

Hi ScudBnnY, Thank you for your post today and sorry about the issue you are experiencing.

Please do try two following solutions that can resolve most Xbox 360 issues

Solution 1 - Clear the System Cache - To do this step please click

here, after doing solution 1 please follow solution two.

Solution 2 - Hard Reboot - Sign out of your profile > Turn off your console > Unplug the power supply for 3 minutes > Reconnect your power supply > Then try sending a message to a friend.

If you still having issues please post back here where we can provide you will more help.

You should have received a message if you were suspended from sending/receiving text messages and friend requests. Can you send outgoing text messages and friend requests to other players? If you can, then you should be able to get messages and requests
from other players. I would also look into the privacy settings on your account and make sure you're allowed to send/receive messages and friend requests.

1. Select the friend list from the menu in Minecraft.
   
2. You will then see a message that says "You received a friend a request". Tap on this message.
   
3. Tapping on the message will display the list of all the friend requests sent you.
   
4. Choose the friend request you wish to accept.
