Friends Not Loading -- OUTRAGEOUS

How has this problem still not been fixed for over 24 hours now? How can the support team be so deficient in troubleshooting capabilities that they cannot fix this quintessential aspect of Xbox Live?! I mean, the whole point of Xbox Live, aside from actually
getting online and playing, is to be able to play with friends!! To have a lapse in service that lasts this long is unacceptable. I try to defend Xbox as the better system compared to PlayStation, but when you add this on top of the Party Issues it just makes
me regret ever supporting Xbox as the dominant system. I mean, I highly doubt PlayStation users have problems chatting with each other on a regular basis, let alone not being able to see their friends list at all. Furthermore, little to no explanation has
been offered as to why the issues have arisen in the first place. It is only common courtesy t inform one's consumer base of an issue and why this issue has arisen! Gamers have sat idly for days wondering if the problem they are having is on an individual
basis, while the whole Xbox community is having the same issue. I am INCREDIBLY disappointed with this system right now, and it breaks my heart because I want to support it and say that it is great. Unfortunately, to do so would just be lying now.

Bethesda Support Response to Game Freezing

Well, I got less lag at startup, but loading screens seem the same outrageous length...

I'll let you know if the game freezes less often.

Having the same problem not loading friends

 

Only problem I have is the lack of explanation. They maybe change a single word of their "30-1hr" updates every other post. An explanation on what exactly is the problem would be helpful.

 

The explanation might be as simple as, "oops". Maybe there's a typo in a big block of code. Or maybe they are looking at code that looks perfectly fine in every way but just won't compile... I hate that.

 

@Ben Linu5, I agree. The fact that they just say they are "working on it" every 30 minutes is very frustrating.

@Titanopteryx, really any sort of explanation would be great. It makes me feel like they are hiding something to not mention it. This issue should be on the front page, in my opinion.

We're getting reports that this issue is resolved. If you're continuing to experience this issue, I'd like you to try power cycling your Xbox One console if you haven't already.

Steps to Power Cycle the Xbox One:

• Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
• Once the Xbox One is fully powered down, unplug the power from the unit and let the console sit for 5 minutes.
  
• Plug the Xbox One back into power.
• Power on and verify if the issue is resolved.

Follow the listed steps and post back if you're still having issues so we can help get you squared away!

@Fortunetaco - I completely agree with you and your point about lack of information, time of fix and lack of explanations. Microsoft have really let us down on this one and even some of their ambassadors don't know what they are talking about.
