friends logging into my account

i fel out of my friends and they have my xboxaccount andi dont want themto do anthing with it so i want to log them out

I'm not sure what happened here.

The way me and my friend did it as to not worry about passwords is to bring up your password change settings on phone or PC first. Then go to home console, enter his gamer tag and enter password. As soon as it logs his in, have friend apply his new password on phone or PC that you had setup first. Log friend account out. Log you back in. Have friend do same on his. As long as you change your password and as long as your account gets logged out of other console, your account cant be accessed without giving new password.

 

Party overlay

Yesterday, was playing online with a friend using in game voice chat. I had party overlay off. Upon finishing our game, I closed out of the game and logged out of my Xbox account. Powered down my Xbox via controller. Ten minutes later my son logged in to HIS Xbox account. In the upper left corner, the party overlay was on. My friends gamertag was listed. My son and my friend have never been friends on the Xbox. It would not go away. I logged back into my account, deleted our friendship, even blocked my friend. Still nothing! My son and I are not friends on Xbox. I called my friend, he logged off and turned his Xbox off, still nothing. I did a power cycle restart via the Xbox button on the Xbox. That took care of the issue. Any suggestions so I do not have to go through all that Everytime I play? Anyone else have this issue?

 

You should never loan or leave your profile on your friends console ever

You can go to your settings and require sign in which requires the password

Or simple change the password to your ms account and all other copies are invalidated

 

Changing your password is the best way to protect from some gaining access to your account.
