Friends list stuck for 2 days, will not update. Have to see who online through my phone

Hella frustrating here. My friends list has been stuck with the same people online since Thursday and it will not change. Have done a hard reset and everything. It just will not update with who is online. Still stuck on the 7 people it was showing 2 days
ago. I have to look to see who is online via the app on my phone. Extremely aggraviting here. Also without having to go into the app on my computer is there anyway you can see who is in a party on the new dashboard? For the life of me I can't figure that one
out. One the old dashboard you could see who is in a party before you joined, on the new dashboard I can't figure out how to see unless I go to the computer. The update was cool at 1st but issues like this are starting to take its toll. The friends list thing
is beyond frustrating. Thanks

Is Online

for the past 2 days my friends who come online i dont get 2 see when they come online?? My notifications r on. any1 help me??

Unable to receive game or party invites after update.

I need to add to this; My friends list has been stuck in limbo with the same info for a few days. The same people online doing the same thing (i.e. One person has been watching a blu ray movie for two days). I can't get party invites, I can't invite people
who I know are online (but not showing up). I can clearly see the people when I play Battlefront, and can even invite them to my in game party (no talking can be heard), but I can't join parties.

I've done all the usual resets and such. What's going on?

Edit: the friends list on my Smart Glass works fine!

Nevermind it so how all of a sudden fixed itself with a factory reset but the chat thing is still an issue to me but I can live with that for the time being

Hey there! To minimize confusion because troubleshooting may be different for preview updates than regular versions, you'll want to post this, and everything else preview related in the preview forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx).
This will also ensure that the proper team sees your post and can help you out. Also, make sure you look at the list of known issues to see if there is a workaround.

If you haven't already, be sure to report any issues via the preview app on your console, so that all relevant data gets reported to Microsoft.

As of now, you can't see who is in a party, and there are many known issues with chat. You'll want to check out the forum for full details.

Right now the best way to see who is online is to go to your friends list in the Friends app. Your online friends will be listed first as well as their current activity. You can also snap the Activity Feed app to see what friends who are online are up to.

I use the 360 SG app more than the XO version, because whoever put the friends list together on the XO version was insane.

You have to scroll through the list to see who's online, and you have to wait on that person to see if they are online, you can't see followers at all, to send them messages etc.

You can't reply to invites, you don't get the notifications.

There maybe a lot to come, but at the moment its a little dissapointing.

The one thing I do like is I can use the mic on the phone to type in messages.

Like Reidzer said, it isn't currently supported but hopefully will be soon. I would rather an option to disable those if you didn't want to see them, than to have them disabled already. However as far as I'm aware, your online friends show up at the beginning
of the list, not mixed in with offline friends if you're viewing your friends list. If you're looking at followers the list is based on when they were added to your list, instead of who is online and who isn't, so you may see people who are online mixed in
with those who are offline but if you're looking at your friends list, the people who are online should be listed at the beginning. It isn't the best way to do it, so hopefully we see the addition of that notification.
