    Friends list problem


    I had to restore my Xbox because it got stuck on the green screen, after I did that I've been having an issue with my friends list on xbl. when I goto my friends list I'm seeing everyone that is online, but when I scroll to the bottom of the list it says
    "offline" but the list is showing the same list that is online. I'm unable to see my friends that are actually offline and I don't know why it is doing this. I play with quite a few people that "appear offline" so I can't even find them. It's pretty annoying
    actually. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there a setting that got reset once I restored?

    Hey Fixxxer, this thread is getting a little old and most the folks in it are reporting that they aren't seeing that issue anymore. Let's start with heading into the Sign In screen and redownloading your profile. If that doesn't help, please make a fresh
    thread detailing what it's doing currently and we'll get it sorted for you!

    I'm starting to see reports of gamers for their friends list - missing friends or similar problems with friends and groups

    In my case, I'm experiencing missing friends. Right now I only have "7 friends" but I remember to have more.
    Probably this is a current or temporary outage.

    I'm having the exact same problem. when i log on into xbox.com i'm able to see my friends list fully but when i'm on my xbox people still show up as offline for some reason.

    I'm having a similar problem as well right now, I sign into my account and it shows that I don't have friends at all, nor can I join parties or receive or send messages. Hopefully this problem is sorted out soon because its been happening all day for me
    and it's becoming a real pain...
