Friends list not updating after Xbox One update; other issues

Since I've downloaded the recent dashboard update to my Xbox One, my friends list will load as I initially sign for the day, but will not update throughout the night. This causes pretty big issues when trying to connect with friends for gaming or parties.

I have tried a hard reset but that does not seem to work. On a side note, I have also noticed that my left pullout tab with the friends list will also "stick".

Any recommendations?

Let's start out by removing your profile from your Xbox One, once your profile is removed, power cycle your Xbox One (hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds), and then add your profile back to see if there's any change in your friend list.

Every time I remove people from my friends list they don't stay off. I'll switch the xbox off and on but the same list keeps coming back. But when I check Xbox.com - My profile - Friends list it shows the amendments. Also the are no messages showing on Xbox.com
- My prolfie - Messages, since the end of September even though I have send/received many. Any ideas of how to sort this out?

I'd recommend hold both trigger buttons and Y at the same time. (LT+RT+Y) If your friends doesn't load, please try this out.

I am having this problem too, but that doesn't seem to help me. Any other ways?

 

for the past several weeks my friends list won't update from 194 friends online. I've tried a refresh and hard reset. NOTHING WORKS
