    Friends list not showing up on Xbox One


    Hi, My friends list has not been showing up for the past three days. The error reads can not display friends list right now. I have tried rebooting the system multiple times.

    I can't see any of my friend in the game either (Destiny). Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

    I can't seem to play this game with friends I have made through the Xbox One. None of them are showing on the list to invite and I am not showing up on their lists. Is this because my friends list was full due to 360's limitations? I can't even invite
    them through the guide on the Xbox one. It's greyed out. Is there a workaround without having to purge my friends list? I really want to play horde with some of my new friends.

    well turns out I am having the same problem as you buddy.

    My friends are online, friends list either gives me an error or says everyone is offline. I can log into the game and access online features. If I try to invite any friends to my party chat it sits there loading and gives me an error. ALSO, if I attempt
    to go into my settings via xbox it sits there until giving me an error stating that it was having an error, followed by some code..... Did I mention this is my second xbox one in two months? Really trying to convert me to Sony aren't you Microsoft....

    Try turning off your X Box One by holding down the power button on the console for about three seconds. Once the console has been off for at least a minute, hit the power button again and watch the system show the loading screen. Your friend list should
    reload and any bugs hopefully will be wiped out.

    If that fails, have a friend send you a friend request and accept it. See if the friend shows up on your friend list.

    I just got an Xbox One yesterday. Same thing here. I can't even add friends as well. The strange thing is that even here on the website I cannot pull up my friends list either. Don't know what the issue is but I hope it gets fixed soon.

    I’m guessing you’re part of the preview program specifically alpha or alpha skip ahead I have had the same issue for what seems like 2-2 1/2 weeks I’ve contacted MICROSOFT three times removed my account and re-downloaded 3 time it and hard reset 12 times
    There is no fix besides factory reset is what I’ve been told I wanna perform a factory reset because it’s not good to do to your Console I’ve had issues with previous Xbox ones where if you factory reset it’ll

    Having same problem. The above solution did not work. No explanation friends list is gone. Hard resets, redownload account. Nothing. I am not part of the preview program since the last time it screwed up my xbox years ago.
