Friends List Keeps Losing Friends

Welcome to the Xbox Forums.

A number of things could cause this, but as far as I know something like this could be a physical deletion.

Can you confirm if anyone in your household would have access to delete your friends without you knowing, to narrow out the possibility.

Does anyone aside from yourself have access to your account, maybe a family or friend living elsewhere?

This does seem like a strange issue as you said your friends did not delete you.

At this point I can only suggest two things as it is an issue I have never heard of, although other members of the community may step in and have a theory.

1. Go to account.live.com/Activity

(check to see the recent successful logins to your Microsoft Account, watch out for IP addresses you do not recognize, eliminate this from your current IP address you can obtain at www.ipchicken.com, and if there is an IP address you are certain you do not
recognize and had no permission logging into your account, follow solution two below)

2. If you feel your account has been or is compromised you should contact Xbox Customer Support, and open a case for Unauthorised Access by visiting
support.xbox.com/contact-us

3. Update your password at http://account.live.com

4. Require profiles to be re-downloaded to the console on your account/sign out other consoles who may have used your account

someone on your friends list must have him as a friend and through them he is getting to view your profile or hes using recent players list. get ALL your friends to check their friends lists.

get your friends to block him also and then speak with xbox support and keep the messages from him as if you are suffering as much as you are and being stalked then its serious and you can involve the police if you feel frightened and also worried about
losing your account.

give it time and your friends list will come back soon, trust me you did not lose any of your friends

Same issue for me as well. Moved from xbox 360 to xbox one a month ago and I cannot see any xbox one friends on my new console, only initial xbox 360 friends list.

I have 3 friends automatically off my list :/ I resend a friend request to my closest friend on xbox 360. He said he accepted it but I saw a message that says "friend request pending". I Don't get it!
