You could call phone support and have them open an unauthorized access investigation. Remember that your account will be frozen during the investigation. However, I would suggest that it is more likely that somebody in your own home gained access and deleted
your friend, or that it glitched somehow. If you have not seen any other changes, and you still have control of your account, I would change the login details instead of going for the investigation. Phone support # 800-4my-xbox

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your friends list.

Many gamers have reported not being able to see their friends list across multiple Xbox platforms such as PC, Console, Mobile Xbox app, and Xbox's website. However, If you press the Xbox button and go to Profile & System > press "A" on your profile > "My profile", your friends count should still display the exact number of friends you have, this means that your friends were not deleted from your list, they are just not displaying correctly. You can also see this at: https://account.xbox.com/Profile

These are some things you could try to get your friends to display again:

• Power Cycle

- Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds, until it shuts down.

- Unplug the power cord from your console for 3 minutes (If you have the original Xbox One, unplug the power supply from both the Xbox and the outlet).

- Plug everything back together and turn your console on.

• Check for pending Xbox system updates.

- You can do this at Settings > System > Updates.

• DNS settings

- Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual > and set the Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4.

- Restart your console.

• Try connecting your console to a different network.
