Friends list glitch

For the past month many of my friends have been shown as "offline" even though they are online. According to the person I spoke to at Microsoft I am in the preview program and this glitch it linked to it. I'm just curious as to how long until this is fixed.

This has been happening to a lot of people.

Doesn't really effect anything major.

Happens to me too, and it's always the same person not reading properly.

I'm sorry to see any issues with your friends list! I can verify that you have been accepted into the Insider Program, however it does not look like a console is enrolled in the program currently. This means that you wouldn't be affected by anything in the
program itself.

Are you able to post back with troubleshooting steps you've already completed? I want to make sure I get you the right steps, but also don't want to have you do something that you've already done.

Lately, there has been some xbox trouble pertaining to friends lists, messages and invites. They have not been working correctly. Xbox has fixed this issue and there should not be any more problems.

well sometimes it takes some time for xbox to full log someone out. it will show them online for a bit without them actually being online. so its not a problem with anything of yours
