Friends list Friends not appearing

So I am constantly adding friends on Xbox one, and one thing i have noticed is that i add them, and when i go to find them in my friends list they are not there, restart my xbox and they normally are, also if i try to unfriend that person that isnt appearing
so as to add them again, it does not delete them, it still says "change friendship" and the only way to make it so i can appear to add them again is by blocking and unblocking them, and still it says add friend, and also remove at the same time, i have had
a few friends who have also experinced this issue, i would appreciate you guys finding a solution or fixing the problem if its a problem with the programming. thank you.

When friends list will be updated

I was wondering when friend list will be updated so I can refer more friends that don't have gold, Because I've added them about 48 ago and still they're not appearing on my friends list!

Hey there, xSinkingEnd64!

There's a few things going on here that you seem to be running into. When you add your friends and need to restart your console to see them, this is a caching issue. One of thing you can do instead of a restart is hit LT + RT + Y. This is a dashboard refresh,
and should show you your friends there.

The need to block someone to remove them as a friend fully, and still seeing the remove option after, is something I haven't seen before, though. What I suggest doing is making note of the gamertag, the time you had to block them, and your time zone. Give

phone support a call, and ask them if they can get it up to the right teams to work with you. If they are unable to do so, post back here with a reference number from the call, and we'll look into the options here on our end.

Hopefully you get all sorted out! Keep me updated.

Can you try to >>power cycle<< your Xbox One console and see if that helps? Also, what region are you located in and is your
console updated to the latest version? You can find your console's OS version under
Settings > All Settings > Console Info and updates >OS version,
we want the number that starts with rs1_xbox.

Also are you able to provide us with screenshots of your dashboard currently looks like where your friends list should be?

Are you pertaining to the suffix? According to Xbox Support:

"If you’re assigned a suffix, the # symbol and suffix appear everywhere except in friends lists. You don’t see suffixes of friends in your friends list, and they don’t see yours in their friends list. Your suffix may also appear in games that support the modern gamertag system so that everybody knows who’s who."
