Friends List Confusion

Hello! It's my first time posting a question on a site like this, but I was very confused.

Someone had unfriended me from back when I played only on the Xbox 360 as it was the only system that I had at the time, but recently sent me a friend request again. I checked their profile on the Xbox One system that I have right now and it says I am one
of their friends and followers, but I don't have them on either of my friends lists. It also gives me the option to change friendship despite not having them in either. Does this mean they have me blocked from the 360? From what I can tell, they don't have
a one, so do they have me blocked or something?

Replace "Followers" with "Friend Requests"?

I still think that if you follow someone back they should be removed from the followers list and just be shown in your friends list... That helps avoid confusion between the two and reduces "clutter" on the followers list.

 

Do Friend List Carry Over To The Xbox One?

If I am on my xbox one will my 360 friends list carry over and will I be able to talk to friends playing on xbox 360 while I am on my xbox one? Any help here will be greatly appreciated.
