Friends can't invite me to games and I can't invite them

i have already tried power cycling, and when I first got it it said I downloaded it for 360, I never had a 360, so I switched this console to my main and it says I still can't invite my friends and they can't invite me.

Can't invite friends to can and can't join party

Ok so on my friends list I can send messages to them but all of a sudden I can't invite them to games they can't invite me and I can't join there party's.

Can't invite friend to play Blackops

Hello,

I have noticed on two occasions that I can't invite my friend to play blackops or he can't invite me. This has happened even after just playing. One of us is kicked out of the game and then we can't reconnect. The 'invite friend' phrase is not highlighted
at all so I can't even select it.

Please help me.

Hey there, tjmarsden

This could be because of problems on Microsoft's side, with the Xbox Live servers. Please keep posted to their
Xbox Live Service Status. When you got a message about it been downloaded for the Xbox 360, what was downloaded to an Xbox 360 (A game, account...)?

Hi Chris,

It's all games I've tried so far. Friends can invite me, but I can't invite them.

As for connections, I'm hardwired so I'm not sure that's the problem.

Dude, I wish I was having that issue.

I am having an issue where I CAN'T EVEN SEE MY FRIENDS LIST! Meaning, I can't invite friends to my games, can't invite them to parties, and I can't even join them assuming my friend's list won't load.

It might be that the Lobby you're currently in is full. If you are trying to invite friends, try to invite them through the in-game smartphone, or by going to the Online section of the Pause Menu, and invite them through the in-game user interface if you
are in the "open world" section of the game. If you are in the lobby screen of a mission, race or similar activity, try to invite your friends there.

The game might then tell you the reason it can't invite your friends.

My xbox shows that my friends are off line but they are not and when i invite them they can hear me but I can't hear them.

Friends can't invite me to games and I can't invite them
