    Friends cant hear me in party chat


    When i join a party with friends I can hear them but they cant hear me. Ive since bought new headphones (wireless) but the problem still persists. My mic icon does not light up when I talk. Ive updated the controller, done a hard reset on my xbox and checked
    privacy setttings to no avail.

    I'm having the same problem with it. I going the party and my friends cant hear me and I cant hear them. some times I cant even get into party chat, I get stuck into game chat

    I can not hear one of my friends in party but i can hear my other friends in chat

    i cant hear one of my friends in party chat, but u can hear my other friends in the same chat. I cant seem to unmute him. Help.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. I'm about to throw a whole lot of questions at you so head's up!

    Is this something you experience persistently or only occasionally? What new microphone did you buy? Are you able to try your microphone on a different controller? Are you able to bring your console to a friend's house and see if your friends can hear you
    from there? Also, if you >>remove your Xbox Live profile<< from your console and try again, do you experience the same issue? You can also
    try to >>factory reset<< your console to see if that helps.

    I'm experiencing an identical issue as you actually. I've spent a total of about four hours with tech support and here's what we've tried.

    New controller

    New headset

    New stereo adapter

    Checking all settings (NAT type, family restrictions, etc.)

    Factory reset (kept games & apps)

    Finally, after all of that, the woman that was helping me did what she needed to do to replace my Xbox one elite. I just received it today and.......still no luck. I'm at a loss

    party chat problems

    I have an issue with party chat. Me and a friend will be in it playing a game for awhile then it disconnects him. He still shows in party but cant hear him he cant hear me. We've tried rebooting systems routers and still keeps happening. Can anyone help?

    This is happening to me also but I can't even chat to anyone at all

    If I join a party from a friend inviting me, or I invite someone in the party you normally see 2 purple circles next to our names yes? My friend says im not even in the party, although I CAN see them I cant even hear them and they cant hear me

    Even in game chat doesn't work (Destiny) as I cant even switch between fireteam/in game chat, although my friend can switch to fireteam chat and I can hear them that way

    Tried both headset and even resetting kinect, tried unplugging conolse, hard reset, nothing seems to work

    Please MS give us some info!
