Friends can't hear me in party chat

My friends can't here me in party chat I think it has something to do with me just being unbanned but I can still send messages

Anyone know what 0x89231906 is. When I search it nothing pops up.

When I'm in a party with friends I can't hear them and they can't hear me I see this. "Your network settings are blocking party chat. [0x89231906]

I'm having the same problem but it's also applying to party chat, I can't hear my friends nor can they hear me.

This could be due to a NAT issue. You can troubleshoot that here:

There is also the possibility that your mic may be broken. I would also check the manufacturer site for any troubleshooting issues in case it is a headset problem. You can also try troubleshooting it here as well:

Microsoft doesn't care, they're gonna show you a list of troubleshooting steps that don't work and say that the thread is answered when in fact it definitely is not.. They want you to spend 135$ and send it in.

I also have this same problem and have spent literally hours on hours in doing stuff that doesn't work and their customer service is horrible.

 

Ok I have the same problem. No MIC works Fine. No NAT is not the issue I have all of the suggested PORT Forwarding setup. This is an account issue. The Enforcement team has done something or flipped the wrong flag or when the script runs to Un-Ban our accounts
something must have happened where it did not complete properly. I have spent hours and hours with their support and nothing seems to work. It turns out the the Enforcement Team runs with very little oversight and zero accountability. What does that say about
a department that enforces guidelines but yet can't be reached or communicated through except through FORUMS? Microsoft has to uphold standards and guidelines yes, but now like all you guys I am paying for a service I cannot use. The solution is simple they
need to go into our accounts and flip whatever flag to give us our ability to be heard in Game and Party chat. You need to fix this Microsoft I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on your games and products and regardless of my infraction I shouldn't
WE shouldn't be treated this way.

Communications Suspensions

Communication suspensions are imposed due to inappropriate conduct during communication activities on Xbox Live. This suspension blocks an account from accessing any communication features on Xbox Live, including text messages, voice messages, video communications,
Skype on Xbox One, in-game chat, and party chat. Communications suspensions are issued for a specified temporary duration, often of 1, 7, or 14 days.

During a communications suspension the account may continue to access the Xbox Live service, including online multiplayer. At the conclusion of the suspension all communication functionality will be automatically restored.

 

It has now started working I just think there was a delay but thanks anyway guys
